Regional Project Worker – South Wales and South West England
I am the regional project worker for South Wales and South West England which involves supporting the co-ordination and delivery of sessions within these regions to ensure that they are engaging and meet the needs of the young people we work with. I also work alongside and support our amazing teams of volunteers as well as our key delivery and frontline partners.

Why StreetDoctors?

I wanted to work with StreetDoctors as I feel that it is such a fantastic organisation which puts young people at the centre of everything they do. They work with young people using a trauma-informed approach and clearly strive to ensure that everyone involved including young people, staff, volunteers and partners feel fully supported and heard.

Background

I have previously studied and graduated with a degree in Youth and Community Work (BA) from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Throughout my studies I undertook two placements; one within a local authority youth service and one within a voluntary sector organisation which gave me the opportunity to support young people from a wide range of backgrounds, contexts and life experiences.

Outside of StreetDoctors

I love watching films and try to go to the cinema at least once a week. I will watch any genre and used to be the president of the animated film society whilst in university. I also love being creative and at least half of my earring collection is handmade.
