Our programmes

Delivered by our movement of young healthcare professionals, our programmes train young people in the physical and psychological consequences of violence.

Reasons to commission us

Trauma-informed

Our trauma-informed approach safeguards those young people who might be triggered, traumatized or retraumatized in our sessions.

Highly-focused

Our exclusive focus on young people affected by violence, who are most likely to be on the scene of a medical emergency resulting from violence.

Delivered by peers

Peer-to-peer training by young student or professional doctors, nurses and paramedics engages and inspires young people.

Skills-based

All our programmes involve skills-based interventions that are proven to be effective in preventing youth offending.

Asset-based

We focus on what’s right with young people, not ‘what’s wrong’; so they are part of the solution rather than the problem.

Toolkits provided

A partner toolkit is provided to all partners to help support young people pre, during and post-delivery.

Impact data

Data is evaluated independently and has been awarded a Nesta level 2 standard of evidence and Project Oracle standard 2.

Award-winning

Our award-winning training has won 14 youth sector and charity awards.

The course changed my life. I had a friend who was stabbed recently. I would have been a lot more help to him if I’d done this course when it happened. I’ve told my friends what I have learnt here, so now they all know the basic first-aid techniques too
