Regional Operations Lead – Midlands
As Regional Operations Lead for the Midlands, I oversee the delivery and coordination of our work across the region, supporting staff, volunteers and delivery partners to deliver high-quality sessions. My role focuses on strengthening partnerships, managing regional operations and ensuring our work continues to reflect the charity’s mission and values.

Why StreetDoctors?

I’m passionate about work that puts people and communities at the heart of change. What really attracted me to StreetDoctors is its unique approach to combining healthcare, education and community engagement to equip people with the knowledge and confidence to respond to health emergencies and make a difference in their communities. I love that StreetDoctors takes learning beyond traditional settings and meets people where they are. I’m really excited to contribute to an organisation that is committed to empowering communities and reducing health inequalities.

Background

My background is in community engagement, youth work, project coordination and the arts, with a degree in Psychology. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with communities and young people, developing and coordinating projects that create opportunities for people to connect, learn and participate. I’ve particularly enjoyed working at the intersection of people, community and social impact, and feel like that’s where my skills shine best!

Outside of StreetDoctors

Outside of StreetDoctors, I’m a singer and musician, so music is a big part of my life. I’m involved in youth and community work through my church and also enjoy cooking and experimenting with food in my spare time. I’m happiest when I’m creating, bringing people together or doing something that allows me to use my creativity!
